Written test
Firstly candidates have to appear in the written exam which held in different centers in India Test includes of English Language, General Knowledge, and Mathematics according to the posts to test the candidate's skills and capability.

Medical test
Medical test is held to examine that the candidates is physical fit or not.

Personal interview
After the written test and medical test interview is conducted to check the candidate’s ability of presentation, communication skills and knowledge.

Merit list
At the end a merit list is declare by the railway board based on the marks achieved in above three phases. The selected candidates after six month training will get permanent job in Indian Railways.
